Open an Apple Music playlist anywhere.
Someone sent you a music.apple.com link and you don't have Apple Music? Paste it here. We play every song in order through YouTube, on any phone or computer.
Who this is for
Apple Music links are fine if you pay for Apple Music. If you don't, they open a page that asks you to subscribe. That's a common problem in group chats where half the people use Spotify and the other half use Apple.
PlaylistSearchr reads the song list from the public Apple Music page and plays each song from YouTube. No Apple ID, no trial, no app.
How to copy an Apple Music link
- iPhone or iPad: open the playlist or album, tap the three dots, then Share, then Copy.
- Mac: in the Music app, click the three dots next to the title, then Share, then Copy Link.
- Web: copy the address from the browser bar on music.apple.com.
What plays
Playlists and albums play top to bottom, as Apple lists them. Artist links play the artist's top songs. If a song isn't on YouTube at all, it's marked in the list and skipped.
Questions people ask
Do I need an Apple Music subscription?
No. Apple Music playlists and albums have public pages that list the songs. We read that list and play each song through YouTube.
Does it work on Android and Windows?
Yes. It runs in any browser, so it's an easy way to open an Apple Music link a friend sent you when you don't use Apple Music yourself.
What happens with an artist link?
We play the artist's top songs, the same list Apple Music shows on the artist page.
Can I save it to my YouTube account?
Press "open it on YouTube" on the player. YouTube opens the first 50 matched songs as one list, which you can save there.
